What to do when the installation fails


Under certain circumstances it could be that the installation of the SWIFT Token software fails. A few examples are given below:

  • The old installer 4.0.24 from an NG-Flash token was used
  • A token was plugged in before the software was installed
  • A token was plugged in during the installation process
  • Installation was attempted using Windows XP
  • Installation was performed without uninstalling a previous version of the token software
  • The eToken.dll file unexpectedly disappeared after reboot
