Error 01952 during the renewal or recovery of your certificate

"01952: Your operation failed due to internal error. Please try again after some time. If the problem persists, contact SWIFT support."

This message shows when both of these conditions are true:

• You are recovering an expired certificate, or renewing a certificate that will expire in the next 12 hours.
• The token has been reset in the past.

A portal update is planned to be released on 31 May 2025. If you encounter this message you will need to retry the operation after the portal update. This page will be updated when more information is available.

We recommend to users who need to renew an expiring certificate, to do so at least one day before the expiration date.
